Given the 17 November release date for Battlefront II, if DICE includes this battle in the launch version of the game, it’ll give players a chance to fight on an all-new planet before they see it on the big screen in December in The Last Jedi. There are even rumblings of bigger, deadlier walkers than we’ve seen before. Although only briefly seen in the teaser trailer, there’s a few shots of a battle between Resistance speeders (the ones that kick up the red smoke) and some sort of First Order walkers far off in the distance. There’s also red-coloured minerals just beneath that same barren surface. Crait is described as a planet once rich in minerals that has been harvested to the point of salt covering its surface.
Writer/director Rian Johnson recently revealed the name of a planet briefly seen in the teaser trailer for The Last Jedi.
